Our legal team at Watson Law focuses on all aspects of family law. Linda Watson, our lead attorney, has spent more than 23 years working in this challenging and rewarding area of law in Illinois and Texas. She and her staff work hard every day to find individualized solutions to her clients’ matters related to divorce, post-decree modifications of child support and allocation of parental responsibilities (child custody), and more. Our office is located in Peoria and we serve clients throughout all Central Illinois counties, including (but not limited to) Peoria, Tazewell, Bloomington/Normal, Woodford, Fulton, Knox, Marshall, Putnam, Stark, Henry, and Mason.

Our Legal Strategy Will Fit Your Needs, Not Ours – Family law is personal. Every family is different, and there are no effective cookie-cutter methods for getting through a divorce, domestic violence accusation or child custody dispute. Few understand the need for customized family law representation better than Linda Watson. As your lawyer, she may help you plan for the long-term financial implications of divorce, build a healthy co-parenting relationship with your ex and deal with any accusations of domestic violence, abuse or neglect.
Your Guide Through The Legal Process – Going through a divorce or another family law dispute can be scary. Everything is changing, and the future may seem uncertain. How much control will you have over your life? What will happen with your children? Will you be able to live comfortably and plan for retirement?
The best way for you to regain control over your life and understand the legal process in Illinois is to retain an experienced lawyer who will give your case her personal attention.
